Dave and Curtis of Fixed Vegetables and Seed met over a shared interest in Passive Solar Greenhouses and producing wholesome and delicious local food. This chance meeting evolved into the idea of a garlic farming venture. Fast forward a couple years and after a lot of hard-work, help, and planning it looks like things are working! We are now producing high-quality, and delicious garlic for backyard growers, garlic-hungry home cooks and restaurants. We also grow a host of other fresh vegetables, and offer seeds, fruiting trees and vines grown and adapted to our climate.
We currently have farming operations on two historic farms located in Flatrock and Paradise. Our farming philosophy maximizes locally sourced fertility, cover cropping, science and ingenuity. In our opinion the soil comes first, and that’s where we invest. We’ve been inspired by results, and most importantly the taste.
